About Me

Well, I'm pretty normal! I like to play lots of sports and I like to be involved in the community. I think it's really important when you are involved because it helps you become everyone centered, not self centered. But, most importantly I love hanging it with people who motivates me to do the right!

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the church. I'm a member because I have knowledge for myself that it's true. We can know if we read from the Book of Mormon, Pray, and go to church!

I love the missions of the church

How I live my faith

I try to pattern my life through those people that inspires me. For example the savior, my mom, and those that are close to me. As a member of the church I it can be really difficult to live and keep all the commandments, but I just know as I do I can be worthy to live with my Father in Heaven some day.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

This issue is one that is rife with misunderstanding to outsiders. First, let me say here that we love and accept all of God's children, regardless of beliefs. That being said, we affirm that the central purpose of life is to make and keep covenants in a family relationship. By extension that means bringing children into the world, born in loving families with both a father and a mother.

We believe that our genders are an essential aspect of our eternal identities, that we were male and female even before we came to this earth. Neither sex is more important than the other; both serve the purpose of God to save His children. Both priesthood and motherhood are essential in the rearing of children.

I myself am unspeakably grateful for the blessing of having both a loving father and mother. They each supported me in different ways, unique to their identity as a man and a woman.

Honestly admitting that you have homosexual feelings is often a scary and humiliating process – many are mistreated and must sort through these powerful emotions on their own. You have my deepest admiration and love. Your life is an amazing opportunity to make choices which will bring you peace and fulfillment. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I extend to you the same invitation that was extended to me: communicate your desires, fears and struggles to your loving Heavenly Father in prayer. Come to church with me! Or any other Mormon friend of yours. Give your burdens to God and trust in His plan for you—one that by design results in your greatest happiness.
And when you go to church on Sunday, know that you are on equal standing with those who do or don't have same-gender attraction. I know that faithful and obedient members of the Church will welcome you and love you.
Just like heterosexual members of our church, it is not a sin to be attracted to someone. However, intimacy is a sacred part of a loving relationship between a husband and wife. We are surrounded by a world of smut and filth which make a mockery of true love. Outside of marriage, the management of our sexual urges, whether homosexual or heterosexual, is to master the greatest power God has given His children on earth -- to create families.
