Monica: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Monica

I'm an adoptive mom, a wife, a manager and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Adoptive Mom of three wonderful boys. Wife to an incredible, hardworking man. I am a general manager at a large retail chain. I enjoy scrapbooking, traveling and I love life. I am a daughter, of a King, a Princess. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon so I can be with my family forever. I have been blessed with the opportunity to spend my life being taught of Jesus Christ and His teachings. Being a Mormon is being a whitness of Christ and all He taught. I know He was sent here as my big brother to teach me the way to return home again. I know He attoned for my sins and because of Him and His example I too can live with my family again after this life. I know God lives and that He knows me and loves me. I know without Him nothing is possible yet through Him all things are possible. I know this church is the same church that exsisted when Christ walked the earth. This is His church. I am an example of Him and His teachings. I love my Brother and Savior. I am grateful to have the blessings of modern day prophets to lead and guide me. I know we can all have the blessings of a God will talk to us today. All we have to do is listen and follow.
I can't imagine being a parent without the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. The blessings of the Preisthood have blessed me so many times in my life. I cant imagine being here, being tested, without it. I love the Savior and my Heavenly Father. I love my family and I am a Mormon so I can be with them forever.

Personal Stories

How has the Holy Ghost helped you?

As a parent I cannot imagine life without the Holy Ghost. It has guided me many times when my children have needed help or assistance. When my son was an infant he had a reaction to his shots and the next morning he was not breathing. I was surprised when he had not waken at his usual time but also relieved he had slept in so I could get a few things done. As I passed his room to hurry and get the laundry done a voice spoke to me saying, “No go check on him.” I was surprised and went to open the door but did not want to wake him. I stopped and went to turn around when again a voice came saying, “No, go check on him.” I listened, knowing it was the Holy Ghost speaking to me. As I entered his room I was startled and then terrified to discover he was not himself and not breathing. I know my son was saved by the promptings of the spirit that morning. I have had other moments like this when my other son has needed medical assistance for seizures. I cannot imagine parenting without the constant guidance of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I teach my children of God and Jesus. I teach them to be kind to others. I share my blessings and my faith when I can. I live a life free of drugs, alcohol and tobacco. I attend my church meetings and the Temple. I help others when I can and I set an example. I serve others and enjoy providing service just as my brother and Savior did. I am a manager of many and look forward to sharing my faith with others.
