I enjoy many things in life. I am a mother and wife. One of my favorite things in life besides my family is to play volleyball. I play on a weekly basis and have found many great friends through the sport. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to enjoy gardening, playing sports, crafting, house projects, reading and much more.
I was blessed to be born and raised in an active LDS family. However, it was a personal choice to continue to live within the gospel. I gained a testimony as a young child and always knew that this is the path that I wanted to personally live. It has been a road map in my life to happiness.
The Holy Ghost or I like to say the Comforter has been at times my saving tool. A few years back my husband was called to war and being a young wife with little children I knew this was going to be a challenge. Not only did I worry about the safety of my children, but I was now greatly concerned with the safety of my husband in a foreign land. He played an active role in the fighting and I never knew if he was going to be in harms way that day. Many nights I prayed for the comforter to give me peace in knowing that all will be well and what happens is what our Heavenly Father wants. I survived those 17 months. I know that it was not me carrying the load, it was my Heavenly Father. He blessed our family with peace and comfort. They was not a storm within, but a calm. After my husband returned to us safely and heard the stories of war. I have no doubt that he was protected and guided.
I live my faith by trying to practice our beliefs daily. I have had many opportunities to work with the youth and love watching them grow and learn.
