Morgan: student, reader, anatomy, Mormon.

Hi, I'm Morgan

I am a daughter, a sister, a friend. I am a student, a teacher, a reader. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am finishing up my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and am currently applying to Physician Assistant Masters Programs throughout the country. I love to read, write, and laugh. My current goals are to learn to love to run, to better my very basic guitar-playing, to get into biking, to cook more meals for myself, to learn to sketch and paint, and to get myself to be more spontaneous. And to be just as good at accomplishing goals as I am at making them. I love road trips, I love to learn, and I have a passion for anatomy and the human form. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel makes sense. I do not believe the notion that God is above the intricacies of our lives, that He has left us here alone. We are His children, and He is our Father. As God is perfect, He is as a perfect father would be- concerned, very much involved in the complexities of our lives, and desirous of our return to Him. I believe a perfect God would provide His children with a way to return to Him and I believe this gospel is it. Adhering to the teachings and standards of the LDS church makes me a better person and gives me hope that I can be worthy to return to live with our Heavenly Father. Life is full of questions and uncertainties and this gospel answers them. It gives me hope. I am at peace about life, despite its unpredictability and disappointments. I do not know who I would be without this guidance in my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life the way Christ would. It's not always easy, and I make mistakes, but it gives me happiness to know I am trying.
I try to treat everyone I meet as a precious child of God, because they all are.
In my church, I have the opportunity to teach a class during our Sunday meetings. I love this opportunity because I learn so much during my preparation, as well as from the thoughts of the men and women in my class.
