Natalie: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Natalie

I balanced the demands of nursing school, marriage, and a brand new baby. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, "mommy", daughter, sister and registered nurse. My family is my very favorite blessing in life. I love to play. Sports, games, boating, beaches, swimming, walking, bike riding, if it is fun, I'm in! I love college football. I also love being crafty and frugal. I look forward to having my own home to decorate and experiment with all kinds of DIY projects. My life seems simple but it is filled with all of the important things Faith, family, fun... and football.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel fills my life with hope. It is easy to feel lost in this crazy world, but my faith in my Savior grounds me, the scriptures guide me, and the teachings of the prophet protect me. I know I am a daughter of God and that enables me to overcome anything. I love knowing that I will be with my family forever.
It is comforting to know that we once lived with God and if we are righteous we will return to him after this life is over.

Personal Stories

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

Prayer is a powerful gift given to us as a way to communicate with our Father in Heaven. Life is hard, full of obstacles, questions, and decisions. When my husband and I met, I was in college and getting ready to apply to nursing school. I managed to apply to school, plan a wedding, and survive biochem and other rigorous classes all in one semester. A couple semesters into the nursing program, I had my first baby. I was determined to finish nursing school and be the best mom ever! It wasn't easy but through lots and lots of prayers, I pulled it off. My Father in Heaven gave me the strength, organization, energy and help I prayed for each and every day.

How I live my faith

I live the gospel through teaching my children and sharing my testimony with them. At church each Sunday, I work with all of the little children ages 3-12 in primary. In primary we learn songs about the Savior, the Book of Mormon, families, and other valuable things in life. We also share messages that instill values of loving others, being kind, and choosing the right.
