I am a wife, mother of four boys, author, and exercise consultant. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my sweetheart for 16 years. He still makes me laugh every day.
I am a mom of four boys. They are adorable and are preparing me well for a career as a wrestling referee.
I have a bachelor's degree in exercise science. I love to use that knowledge to help people improve their health and fitness.
I write inspirational suspense novels. I have three published and really enjoy creating scenes in my head while I change diapers.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed every day of my life because of my membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know Joseph Smith restored the gospel to the earth and the Savior is at the head of this church. I could never deny my testimony of the truths of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each day by acting the way the Savior would act. It is sometimes hard but when I struggle I turn to the Lord and he always lifts me.
My calling in the church is with the children. I love it! They are so much fun and always make me smile.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

By acting on our faith. I've found that if I trust in the Savior and pray constantly I can go forward knowing he will help me. My faith is increased each time He helps and lifts me.

Faith in Jesus Christ doesn't just happen. You have to work for it. I discovered my faith increasing when I decided to study the scriptures for a minimum of 30 minutes a day. Doing so has allowed me to understand the doctrines of the gospel on a deeper level. Scripture study coupled with daily personal prayer where I really try to converse with my Father in heaven, and seek to know His will concerning me, rather than give him a list of my wants and needs and ask him to grant them as if he was my personal butler. The best way I have found is to seek to do as Jesus did. Be friendly with everyone I meet. Go the extra mile and help people beyond what is expected. Avoid judging people and try to find the good in people, rather than dwell on their weaknesses. I've found that seeking to do God's will and striving to live like Jesus Christ taught us to live, has not deprived me of anything, rather by doing things Heavenly Father's way has freed me and brought me more happiness than trying to do it my own way.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Have you ever met a perfect person? I doubt it. Why? Because everyone makes mistakes. When you make a mistake or are confused on what you should do, you want someone to help you, right? We all need someone to help us. We all need a Savior. We always hear that Jesus Christ saved us, but what does that truly mean? It not only means that he suffered and died for you personally, it means that he lived and lives for us too. He wants to help us. Jesus Christ is the only one who underestands everything that we go through. He not only wants to make up for the mistakes we make, but he wants to carry our burdens too. All we need to do is let him carry our burdens. Everyone faces personal challenges and Jesus is there to help. Everyone makes a mistake qa some point in life too. The beauty of having a Savior, is the fact that we can be forgiven. Sometimes our hands get dirty, but they can always be washed clean.
