Allison Erin: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Allison Erin

I'm a Whovian, a dreamer, a daughter of God, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school graduate, with many different paths ahead of me. I am young, happy, and free spirited. I love reading, learning, music, writing, spending time with friends, and seeing people around me happy. I know what I want from life, and though I do not always know what to do, I know the Lord is always there to guide me. I am your everyday typical high school graduate looking into the future excited and ready. And I am a Mormon. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the LDS church when I was 14, thanks to my best friend. I am Mormon because I have never felt more wonderful and joyful as I do when I keep the commandments. Also I have never felt anything as deep and as true as the Spirit. The gospel answered all the questions that I had, that I could not be answered by the world or other people. All and all I am Mormon because the gospel is true and fills my life with such happiness I can not describe.

Personal Stories

Why/How do you share the gospel with your friends?

I like sharing the gospel with my friends because it, being the gospel, makes me so happy. The word "gospel" means good news. It is like getting a college acceptance letter, getting that big promotion, or winning a contest. When you get the news you are over joyed and want to tell everyone about it. Not to gloat, but because you are happy, and you want to share that happiness with them. The gospel of Christ is the same way. It makes members happy, overjoyed, bubbly. We want our friends and loved ones to feel that way too. I do not share the gospel with my friends to gloat and be like hey, I have something awesome and you don't. I do it because I want them to have that awesome. I want them to know what I know. I want them to feel the Spirit, and the love of Christ. That is why I share the gospel with my friends.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending the student ward every Sunday. I go to Family Home Evening every Monday to get closer to the other members in my ward. Also I go to institute to learn more about the gospel, prophets and Christ. I help plan activities for the women in my ward, and visit teach. Most of all I just try my best to keep the commandments and live the best I can.
