Jordan Judkins: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Jordan Judkins

I love my family, I play soccer, I love country music, I love tootsie rolls, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outdoors. I love to hike, I love playing soccer and like to play other sports. I have amazing family and friends. I play guitar. My favorite color is Hazel. I am a missionary currently serving in Oregon. I love to cook. I want to work in theater and I guess I can sing pretty decently. I love to look at cars and just tinker around on an engine, i've helped my friends but in stereo systems and just basic car maintinence.
I owe all I have in my life to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my talents, my abilities, and my family. Probably the thing I enjoy most in my life is being a brother. I LOVE my siblings. I do my best to allow my siblings know that I can be there when they need help with something or when they just want to play. I love being able to listen and understand and help my brothers and sisters and I am grateful that I can come to them and they can do the same thing too. Most importantly I am grateful that I have a mom and dad who love eachother and are an example to me of what I can be for my own family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a wonderful family who is Mormon. I actually took the opportunity to read the Book of Mormon and to ask God through prayer if the book was true. When I got that answer everything else seemed to follow that. I grew up in Utah and have several freinds and members in my neighborhood that have been an influence on me not only religously but acedemically and socially. Mormon's are normal people, we don't try to force people to believe what we believe, everyone has their own choice and its up to them if they want to believe what we believe. That is what I feel is so wonderful about this church is YOU have a choice. I have come to know that this is Christ's true church restored on the earth again and invite you to do the same yourself by reading the Book of Mormon and following the advice that Moroni in the end of the Book of Mormon says in Chapter 10 verses 3-5 and come to know if these things are true for yourself by asking God sincerely. This has blessed my life and I know it can bless yours.

How I live my faith

Each day I wake up and just try to be as nice as I can to everyone. Everyone is a child of God and sometimes I think we forget that. I try my best to follow the example of Jesus Christ as it is found in the bible and than I just do what I feel like is right. When you try to be a friend to everyone and avoid being judgmental many opportunities open up. We all want to progress and become better and by helping others do that I have found it helps me out too.
I let people around me know that I am a member of the LDS church and often with that they have preconceived expectations or know things about our church that they expect me to follow. I am grateful for that because it's a reminder to me to be true to myself and what I believe and in turn others accept me for me and I can be an example to others and i've gained several freinds that way and respect their choices and they can share their beliefs with me and I can with them knowing that I won't be offended and in turn hopefully they won't be offended with my personal oppinions. I never turn down an opportunity though to share my testimony or my feelings of what I believe so others know that I do follow what I believe sincerely.
