About Me

I am a single mother of three children and one ginormous mutt dog. lol! I work in the medical billing admin field. I love to read fantasy is my genre. I love to cook, out out with my friends, dance and listen to rock.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith is based on Jesus Christ and his restored gospel to this Earth. It is a faith that is family oriented and the focuses on our youth are right up my alley. I am proud to be a Latter Day Saint and work hard at continuing to be a daughter of my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings. I partake of the Sacrament. I strive to follow the Word of Wisdom, the commandments and to treat people well. I support and urge my children to attend all their meetings, as well, not just Church on Sundays. I am just like you, I strive to live a Christ like life and follow his perfect example.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Our missionaries proselyte or preach and teach the gospel because our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ has commanded that we share the gospel...allowing all with whom we come in contact to have the opportunity to find true happiness.

Our decision to serve missions is motivated by our belief in the Gospel and our desire to fulfill the Savior's command to "preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15. The Gospel teaches us that we are all sons and daughters of God, and so we feel a kinship with all of God's children and a desire to help them enjoy the peace in this life that the Gospel provides.Our missionaries are not salesman and won't take much of your time, but I know that your decision to invite them into your home will change your life for good!

What is a ward/stake/branch?

To make the administration of this world-wide church possible, the church is organized into geographical regions and sub-regions. The most basic administrative unit is called the "ward". The wards in the church vary in size but are comprised of a geographical area with anywhere from 300 to 700 members. The ward is presided by a bishop. A group of five to twelve wards are combined to form a "stake". A stake is presided by a stake president.
In regions of the world where there is a lesser concentration of members, "branches" are formed. These branches are equivalent to wards but usually have less members. A branch is presided by a branch president.
This organization makes it possible for 14 million members to each have local leaders that can provide guidance, teaching, and administering of the sacred ordinances of the gospel
