Ryann : Mormon.

Hi, I'm Ryann

I'm an equestrian, a teacher, the wife of a firefighter, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the south western United States, as the daughter of divorced parents. I attended the college and graduated with a degree in English and History. I taught 8th grade English in a public school for four years and am currently making a career change to follow my dreams and become a writer and a horse trainer.

I got my first pony for my fifth birthday and have been riding horses ever since. I compete in hunter/jumper shows all across the south western United States with my three horses, Hunter, and Gigi. Riding and horses are my passions and I hope to be blessed with the ability to ride and share a bond with horses my entire life.

I am married to a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who is an incredible man. He shares his courage, love, faith, and strength with our community as a firefighter.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I believe families can be together forever. I also believe in a loving God who listens to my prayers and answers them. I love his son Jesus Christ and strive to live my life as he lived his. I believe each of us is a divine son or daughter of our Heavenly Father and that we were sent to this earth with the tools we need to return to him someday.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving my ward and community by volunteering as a stake Girl's Camp Certification Leader. I help plan the week long annual Girl's Camp for the young women of the church and I help teach these young women first aid, gospel principals, archery, hiking safety, service, and other life skills. We promote self-esteem, education, chastity, modesty, and strength in womanhood.

I live my faith not only by attending my church meetings each week and volunteering in different church positions, I also live the teachings of the gospel in my daily life. I am a good example to others, I serve the people around me, I stand up for what I know is right, and I share the gospel with others.
