I grew up in Washington. Im an avid wakeboarder, I like to have a good time and am a missionary in fort worth. Im a Moromon.

About Me

My name is Miles Gardner and im just a kid. Im from the great state of Washington. I love all kinds of sports, either competitive or extreme sports. You can usually find me watching sports center late at night or out on the lake wakeboarding in the summers. After graduating highschool I went to school in idaho and ill be honest, I still have no clue what I wanna be when "I grow up" but I trust in the lord that if i do whats right, everything will work out. Currently im serving a mission for Jesus Christ in the great Texas Fort Worth Mission and loving every second of it!!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but gained my own testimony way after i was baptised. I always knew that i could pray to ask good if the church was true but never did. One night i got on my knees and asked god if this church was true. It was a simple pray but I did it in Faith. Knowing i would recieve an answer. And guess what? I recieved an answer and I am so greatful/happy to be a member of this church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by waking up every morning and talking to people about the restored Gospel. Giving 2 years to the lord. Someone told me once the after my mission "the lord will be grateful but not satisfied." So i plan on living my faith not just now but after as well. Life is GOOD!!

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

The Prophet today is Thomas S. Monson. We have the privaledge of hearing from him every 6 months. The great thing about this gospel is you dont have to take anyones word for it. YOU can personnally ask god if this man is a prophet of god and YOU can recieve an answer that he is.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

No, Mormons or members of The Church of Jesus Christ do not practice polygamy. The church has nothing whatsoever to do with the practice of polygamy. People who practice polygamy are not Mormons or members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If any members of the church are found practicing plural marriage, they are excommunicated, which is the most serious penalty the Church can impose. Not only are those involved in direct violation of the civil law, they are in violation of the law of this Church.
