Hi, I'm Ken

I was born in Hawaii. I live and work in California as an engineer. Life has meaning and brings me happiness. I'm a Mormon.BR

About Me

I am husband to a wonderful wife and we are the parents of five great children. I work in the aerospace industry. I am active in the community, I love the outdoors, I enjoy college sports and I am a Giants baseball fan. I really enjoy hiking and canyoneering, and most sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have enjoyed the fruits of obedience to His commandments. I have read the Book of Mormon and I believe that the Book of Mormon complements the Bible in testifying of the divinity of Jesus Christ. I believe that the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the words of God.

Life presents many challenges and I am not immune to hardship. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me motivation to continue in faith even as I struggle. I know the prize of being together with my family forever is worth the effort.

The plan of happiness taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives real meaning to my life and I find peace in knowing that I am a child of a loving god who knows me by name. On a daily basis, I receive answers to my prayers as I strive to faithfully observe the commandments of God. It is really quite amazing to observe the hand of the Lord assisting me in my work and other daily activities.

How I live my faith

I love spending time with my family. I love supporting my children in their activities. Family is an important part of our faith. I want my children to do more, see more, and be better than I am.

I am active in the community, volunteering in schools and in community volunteer activities. I enjoy working with other community voluteers. I am a volunteer leader in church, working with adults and youth and families.

A friend once commented that if I spent as much time and effort in making money as I do in volunteer activities, I would be a very wealthy man. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and great friends. Money can't buy these blessings. I enjoy service.
