About Me
I'm a stay-at-home mom and wife who's happy to finally finish her Associate's! My desire is to hopefully get a degree in forensics and to one day volunteer for a police department when I have the time. I love paper! I love to rip paper! My favorite activity is to do origami. I also love to read, play video games and window shop.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because my family joined when I was 3 but I didn't convert myself until I was about 15. I was going through a hard time and pretty depressed. Something told me to look up some church articles and books on the topic of repentance. As I did, I felt the Spirit strongly and knew I had to change. From then on, I decided to study the scriptures and live the way I knew Heavenly Father would want me to. Now I'm much happier and confident in myself knowing that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who wants me to be happy.
Personal Stories
How has the Book of Mormon brought you closer to God?
It has brought me closer to God by feeling His spirit while I read and even after I finish. It uplifts my soul which, in turn, gives me a desire to be happy and a bright hope for my future and the future of my family.
How I live my faith
Everyday I read my scriptures, say family and personal prayers and do the best I can to please my Father in Heaven. There have been hard days, but I know that as long as I trust in God, everything will turn out okay. I have served many callings throughout my life. Currently, I am part of the Welcoming Committee in my ward. I'm so excited to meet new people!
