Hi, I'm Jennifer
I am a college student and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I have lived in a lot of different places including Utah, New York, and Georgia. I love to play volleyball and I play at my college on a competitive league. I like to draw and create things. Right now I love do create different types of grafitti. I would never tag a wall illegally, but I do enjoy creating grafitti with paper and sharpies. I also love to read and learn. I enjoy cosmetology as well. I practice on my roommates all the time. They're really good sports about it. Plus they love getting their hair and nails done for free . I am one of six children, where I am the second oldest. My older sister is married and lives in Alaska with her husband. Then I have a younger sister and 3 younger brothers.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am so greatful that I was and that I had the opportunity to learn principles at a young age that would help me to be a good person. I have studied different religions in a comparitive religions class in high school. I noticed that there were a lot of churches that taught good principles and morals to its members, but I didn't have the same feeling about their doctrine as I did in mine. I feel the Holy Ghost every time I study my scriptures and pray and when I attend my temple. There is a peace and sense of security in our places of worship and in our doctrine.
Also I love the fact that we have a modernday prophet much like the children of Isreal in Moses' time. It made sense to me that God would want us to have a leader to help us get back to him and give him revelation to guide us on a path that will lead us back to be with him and our Savior again. Everything has a purpose in our church and everyone in our church pulls together to benifit the entire church.
How I live my faith
