I grew up in Illinois and across the south. My parents took me to a variety of churches. At 18 I became a Mormon & am very happy!

About Me

The church has provided for me a pathway, a light of truth and opportunity for me to become more like Jesus Christ the Redeemer and Savior of the world.

I am so grateful for the teachings of Jesus and His example while He tarried on our earth.

May I strive to keep His commandments and live a life He would be pleased with to become more like him every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Savior and His teachings of love & goodness. I find that I am much happier and at peace when I live those beliefs. When I share my faith, I see the warmth & peace that it brings to others.

How I live my faith

My wife and I love people. We have taught sunday school to 8 & 9 year olds. We like to visit others. We spend time with our seven children and grandchildren.

  • Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

    No. Every worthy young man is expected to serve a mission, though there is no punishment for not doing so. Also, not every young man is physically or mentally capable, so there are circumstances where a young man may be excused from service. Young women may also serve missions, but are not expected to do so.

    Serving a mission means a full-time commitment, leaving family and friends to preach the gospel in a place assigned by the Church.

    I served my mission in Los Angeles, California.
