Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Christian Baptist Church but that doesn't mean that I didn't struggle to find the truth. When I got old enough to doubt by myself, I began to explore religion. Revelation 14-6 said Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. I simply prayed to know the truth and felt that the life I had been living was a good one and that I should continue to live this way. Mormonism isn't a religion, it is a lifestyle.

my mom was a Catholic person since his childhood so with my acts and faith she could have found the true and really understand the purpose of life

How I live my faith

sharing my beliefs with friends no members and teach them what I'd learn about the scriptures

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

It is basically used to build the kingdom of God, in many ways, such as helping the poor, building sacred Temples and places of worship, We consider it sacred money and recognize that may personal sacrifices are often made in order to be faithful in keeping this commandment (paying tithing) but it's definitely worth it. I KNOW. I've tried and continue to faithfully live this commandment, and know that God has blessed me significantly for it... So MANY blessing that there's not even room enough to receive them all:) "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings... Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." The money received from members in the form of tithing goes directly to the headquarters of the church where a council decides what will be done with the money. Here are some ways in which the tithing funds are used: 1. Build, maintain, and operate temples, meetinghouses, and other buildings. 2. Provide operating funds for stakes, wards, and other units of the Church. (These units use the funds to carry out the ecclesiastical programs of the Church, which include teaching the gospel and conducting social activities.) 3. Help the missionary program. 4. Educate young people in Church schools, seminaries, and institutes. 5. Print and distribute lesson materials. 6. Help in family history and temple work. *It is important to note that tithing funds are not used to pay leaders of the church. All leaders of the church are volunteers and receive no form of pay. Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

We are not required to serve a mission, but we have been called by the prophet as the young men of the church (if worthy and able) to take the gospel to the rest of the world. This church has done so much for us and brought so much purpose and happines into our lives, so we just want to share it with everyone else. The mission is an oppertunity to make other people's lives better, whether that be through service or throught Jesus Christ, we are just there to help them.
