I like to use the word outrageous frequently, and have heretofore loved every minute of it! and im a Mormon!

About Me

I am a student. I have my Associates of General Sciences and am planning on more schooling! To the BEST PAC-12 associated team in Utah.. The one and only University of Utah!
I get asked a lot what i want to be when i grow up.. and right now I am just hoping that i actually grow up and then i assume ill know what i want to do when that happens! But for now i do know that i want to have my own family and be the BEST Dad that i can possibly be and to me that's all that really matters!
Right now i do know what I am doing though! I am currently a missionary and am loving that! I really enjoy serving others and finding those that are ready and willing to be changed by this Gospel!
Otherwise I enjoy just about every sporting activity especially racquetball, baseball, basketball and golf. And love being at RSL games cheering on the boys at the riot!!
Another hobby of mine is cooking, i really love grilling and also really enjoy baking!
I am an avid movie and TV watcher! I really enjoy super hero movies i.e. ironman, transformers, batman, etc. I also love to laugh and love to watch the office, community and other such programming!
I love to laugh and live life and have fun while i am living it.
Isn't that what life is about? To live and love and thats what i try to do!

Why I am a Mormon

Im a Mormon because i have read the Book of Mormon and received a witness that it is true and that it is the word of God. I know with all my heart that this is the way for us to find peace on this earth as well as to find eternal happiness in the life to come! I love my family and through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, taught in the Book of Mormon and the Bible, i feel that i can come closer to them as a family and my love and appreciation for them grows also!

Personal Stories

Can you talk about the missions of the Church and your participation in them?

Missions for the church are fully optional you volunteer for them and dont get paid. A mission is something that will absolutely change your life for the best.
To be able to serve a mission i needed to lose 70 lbs because of some physical restrictions. This process was long and very difficult but because i knew it was the right thing to do and i knew that this is something that i needed to do i would have the Lord on my side to help me.. Lo and behold i'm out in the field now and loving it!

How I live my faith

In church i have been priveledged to work with the children and had the incredible opportunity to teach them! I also am currently serving my mission as a representative of Jesus Christ, trying to bring this glad message to all those that are willing to accept it. I do these things because it is what God would have me do and i know that pure Joy and lasting happiness comes from doing His will.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The word of wisdom is the Lord's law of health. We abstain from drugs, tobacco, alcohol, coffee, and tea, and are encouraged to eat wholesome food and grains, and not eat excessive meat. I am asked all of the time by my fellow residents at the hospital why I don't drink coffee, and how I can stay awake all night on call without it. I don't consider it a sacrifice, though, and am as awake and perform as well as any. It is true that the body will be more healthy when following the word of wisdom, the but the main benefit is spiritual. The knowledge that you are in line with the the Lord's teaching is the most important thing.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

I go to college in what many people consider the "bible belt" of America. Many people assume I'm not a christian or that I don't believe in Jesus Christ as the literal Son of God. Most people don't realize just how christian our faith is and they're usually surprised at how similar many of our beliefs are. The truth is Jesus Christ is the Son of God and there is no other name by which people can be saved. Jesus Christ is my savior and the Savior of the world. His goodness is available to all and brings happiness to anyone who reaches out to Him.
