Holly!: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Holly!

I love geography, food, and my best friend, who happens to be my husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Florida girl who transplanted to Utah for college. I met and married my best friend in May of 2010. I just graduated in April 2011 with my degree in Geography emphasizing in Geospatial Intelligence. I dream of traveling the world one day with my husband and soaking up all the different cultures out there. As well as visiting lots and lots of temples! They are my favorite. I have a deep love for the military. I could play volleyball every day for the rest of my life and be happy. Oh, and I can't wait to have cute kiddos in the (not too) distant future!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it guides me in every aspect of my life. Also because I love my family more than anything the world could ever offer and being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints provides the opportunity for me to be with my loved ones not only in this life, but for eternity. One day less than forever would literally not be enough time for me to be with my husband.

I love the hope that the Gospel can bring when you make mistakes or feel down. I love knowing that I am never alone and that I can always do better tomorrow than I did yesterday. I also love having the knowledge that I have potential to become perfected through my Savior. Having the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost gives me confidence to make decisions (especially the tough ones) because I know he has my back and will always guide me if I allow him.

The structure yet sweet spirit that the Gospel of Jesus Christ offers is unique to anything else on Earth and gives greater joy, peace, and true happiness than anything else ever could.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in my Ward's Primary. Primary for the children of our Church. From 18mos. to 3 years the children are in Nursery. From ages 3-12 we have them in Primary where they learn on Sunday through singing and lessons. The point of Primary is to teach the children the principles of the Gospel, help them understand and keep their baptismal covenants, and to help them know that their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love them dearly.

Children are so funny and cute. It is also amazing to see how they recognize simple and pure truth so easily.
