I grew up in Utah. I'm your typical Utah mormon boy. I'm a convert to the church though. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a full time student working toward graduate work. I grew up in a big family. I grew up in the church and served a mission. I struggled with my testimony for a time. I am definately a convert to the church. I work as a nurses aide for a home health agency. I love the outdoors, sports, and trying lots of new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because it works!!! I know the church is true because I've seen the results of following the gospel in my life. Pray works! God loves us!

How I live my faith

I work with the missionary work in my congregation. I go out and visit people who may not be coming to church. I also love to study the gospel and the roots of our religion.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Mormon temples are for learning the sacred truths of the eternities. Families are united together forever in them and also ordinances are performed for those who have died without a knowledge of Christ and His true gospel.

A temple is a house of the Lord, a place where we may worship our Heavenly Father and feel of His presence. It is a sacred place where no unclean thing can enter. Because of the importance and sacredness of the temple, a temple recommend is required and is received based on individual worthiness within the church in order to enter its holy walls.

The temple is where I go to find answers, to find peace, and to feel the Spirit. We are encouraged to go as often as possible and to attend seeking Spiritual guidance. Inside we perform sacred ordinances for ourselves and more often for others, those who are deceased. God requires that all to make covenants in order to return to His presence and many died without the opportunity to make these covenants. In the temple we perform the ordinances for them in their name giving them the opportunity to reject or accept the ordinance and thus enter into the presence of the Father. The temple is a very sacred and holy place.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Our decision to serve missions is motivated by our belief in the Gospel and our desire to fulfill the Savior's command to "preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15. The Gospel teaches us that we are all sons and daughters of God, and so we feel a kinship with all of God's children and a desire to help them enjoy the peace in this life that the Gospel provides.Our missionaries are not salesman and won't take much of your time, but I know that your decision to invite them into your home will change your life for good!
