I'm from Idaho, I'm a wrestler, and I love being a Missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Idaho on a farm which i love, I am the seceond oldest out of four kids i have a older brother a twim sister and a younger sister, I love to hang out with my friends when we have time, right now i am a missionary serving in the Savannah Gerorgia, Florida Jacksonville area.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life and my life is just as hard as everyone else, I have my own trials, dissappointments, but i I also have my good and happy moments in my life. Why I'm a Mormon is because of all the things that happened in my life that have shaped me to the person that I am today, yes there have been times that I thought this isn't fun I don't want to do this, or even the more common questions why me? and why now? But the greatest thing in my life that has helped me to grow the most is the Book of Mormon because when i do have those whyme and why now moments I can turn to the Book of Mormon to find the answers that I need and also through prayer with those two things have helped me to really help me through trials and helped me to know that as small in unimoprtant I am to the World, to our Heavenly Father I mean the whole world to him.

What blessings have come through your faith in Jesus Christ?

As Faith is things hoped for things that we can't see but we know that it's there. Faith has and is a learning experiance for me because if can't see it or if there's a problem and i can see a solution then I'll move to something else, but as i exercies my Faith then those problems have soluitions and the things i can't see become visable, but Faith isn't faith untill we exercies or experiment or do something to move the spiritual mountains in our life then we will see miricales, In my life i have seen that as we read the scriptures and learn as much we can to know Jesus Christ our Faith will contiue to grow, and Savior said " Let your light so shine before this people" (3 Nephi 12:16)

How I live my faith

I would say the best way that I live my Faith is just being me, because when you try to be something your not happy. As I have just been myself I have been blessed to be able to sever other people, because thats what the Savior did he served others and he did it why'll being himself He did it as the Son of God so why can't we live the Gospel by being ourselves.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

No serving a mission is completely voluntary, no one is forced to serve, they go out on a mission because we have this wonderful message about the Savior restoring his church and we want to share it with EVERYONE!

Quite simply, no. The young men of the church have been strongly encouraged to serve a mission at age 19, and the sisters are able to serve at age 21, but no one is required to serve. We do it because we want to! Who in their right mind would give up two years and pay that's right, missionaries pay their own way to go somewhere they had never been and do all that they do? We serve missions becuase we know that Jesus is the Christ, and we want the happiness that knowledge bring to be available to everyone! So no, Mormons are not required to serve a mission. It's a personal choice to share the happiness and joy they've received from the Gospel.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The word of wisdom is the Lord's law of health. We abstain from drugs, tobacco, alcohol, coffee, and tea, and are encouraged to eat wholesome food and grains, and not eat excessive meat. I am asked all of the time by my fellow residents at the hospital why I don't drink coffee, and how I can stay awake all night on call without it. I don't consider it a sacrifice, though, and am as awake and perform as well as any. It is true that the body will be more healthy when following the word of wisdom, the but the main benefit is spiritual. The knowledge that you are in line with the the Lord's teaching is the most important thing.
