About Me

Im currently serving as a full-time missionary in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. Lovin every minute of it. From Hauula, Hawaii. I am 20 years old and the oldest of 3 children. Love to watch and play sports. Also going to the movies, cruising wit da boyz and goingn to the beach.. Love and miss my family back home and spending time with them. Family means everything to me...!!!

Why I am a Mormon

Im mormon because this gospel has changed my families life. Being a mormon means a lot to me. Im a mormon because i chose to be and I want to become a better person in my life. Im a mormon because I Know for sure that I can live with my family after this life. Im a mormon because i love Jesus Christ and my Heavenly father. Im a mormon because of my friends and there examples to me. Im a mormon because I know the gospel is true and nothing else matters

Could you talk about your baptism?

I baptized when I was nine by my Uncle Kerry at the beach. This day has totally changed my families life around. Prior to this day my family was less active, we never went to church. On my baptism day my dad stood there on the hill and watched me get baptized. He told me after that he should've baptized me and after this day he changed and made it a goal to baptize my sister. We started to come back to church and now my dad is currently serving in the bishopric and my mom has a primary calling. Im so grateful for baptism and how it has changed my families life. This gospel has truly blessed my life and now I"m returning the favor.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

How I live my faith

Serving a mission has really increased my faith. I live my faith by trying to become a better person and by helping others come unto christ. I live my faith by reading the Book of Mormon and applying it to my life. I live my faith by following Jesus Christ. im living my faith now by being on the lords errand...IPM

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Eternal life is the greatest gift our heavenly father can give to us. the gospel of jesus christ has been restored back to the earth by a loving heavenly father through a living prophet along with his priesthood authority. through that priesthood authority we can be sealed together as a family forever which is a great blessing in our lives..to see our families after this life and our love ones who have passed on....who wouldnt want that!!

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

Latter-day Saints are all expected to generously give of their time to serve in the church. Service opportunities vary greatly and can include being a congregation's pastor, teaching classes, helping congregants gain employment, or helping watch toddlers in the nursery. These volunteer opportunities are temporary and Mormons often gain a wide variety of experiences throughout their lifetimes. Specific assignments are not sought after, but rather delegated out to a congregation's members after those presiding over the congregation have prayed over the matter.

No one participating in this service is compensated financially, as we all are personally committed to help one another and assist in the church's growth. I believe that this way of organizing a church is ideal because it allows congregants to become closely acquainted with one another through service, frees up funds given to the church to go to more important projects such as building chapels and advancing missionary efforts, and greatly reduces any potential for corruption in the church by removing financial incentives.
