Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

Prayer is extremely important in my life and in my Family’s life. I am so grateful to know that trough prayer I am able to communicate with my Father in Heaven. I know that my prayers are heard and answer for I have felt the Lords hand in my life. I remember the day I was about to give birth to my son I was so terrify of the unknown I was afraid I was not strong enough. In that moment I knew I had to pray and I did I pray to my Heavenly Father for comfort, for strength, I pray to him to please bless my baby as he was about to come out into the world. As soon as I was done praying I feel t peace and I felt the Lord by my side I felt as if he was holding my hand. Now my Husband and I are teaching our son the importance of prayer by example we pray in the mornings and trough out the day and it is amazing that at such an early age he is learning the importance of prayer it is so adorable and rewarding seeing my baby cross his arms, bow his head, close his eyes every time my husband and I pray. He is just 15 months and is starting to notice the importance of prayer.
By praying we can develop a strong relationship with our Heavenly Father.
