Hi, I'm Lainee
I'm a fun, loving, outgoing daughter of God who loves to bake, and cook, and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am the youngest of 3 children. I love to be out doors and I love to serve others. I love to be around my family for they are the most important people in my life! I will be going to school to be come a Nurse. I love camping, hiking, horseback ridding, dancing and spending time with my nieces and nephew, taking road trips and traveling. I love to have fun and be around people that are happy all the time. I love serving my Heavenly Father every opportunity I get.
I love to cook and bake and spend time in the kitchen. I sing and dance and am very excited to share my talents with those I love. I am trilingual I speak Spanish and English and do American Sign Language. I am currently serving a mission in the Nebraska Mission and I absolutely love I wouldn't change it for the world I have grown so much to love the people I serve as well my Heavenly Father.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because of the principles as well as the standards that we live by, are things that just make perfect sense! Being able to share those standards and principles are something that I love to do. I am grateful for the family that I have and for their great examples that they are to me of faithful LDS people!
I know that we have a living prophet today who leads and guides us and that he receives all of his inspiration from our Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he lives. I know that Families are forever, and that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real! I have seen it effect my life as well as the lives of others. I love the gospel and I love my Savior Jesus Christ!
Personal Stories
Why do Mormons go on missions?
We go on missions to "invite others to come unto christ by helping them recieve the restored gospel through Faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Recieve the Gift of the Holy Gohst, and Enduring to The End." We spend 18 months to 24 months away from our familes so that we can help others be with their families for Eternity. It is very rewarding and the most amazing experience we all as gods children can have.
Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?
Prayer plays a huge part in my life especially because that is one way that I am able to communicate with my Father in Heaven. Just like your own father wants to hear from you every day your Heavenly Father wants to hear from you.
Prayer is how we are able to ask our Father in Heaven for things that we need as well as the things that we are most grateful for. That is how we can receive revelation for ourselves so that we can progress and do the things that He wants us to do.
I am very grateful for pray and for the opportunity that I have to turn to my Heavenly Father every day no matter where I am, what time of day it is I can always to turn to him in Prayer!
How I live my faith
I was raised LDS I have been a member my whole life so being in a home where religion is a big part of your life you can't really escape something that makes you happy all the time. I attend church each week and have helped with the young children as well as with young women. I also serve others the best to my ability. Service is a big opportunity in our religion because we believe that through service we are able to share our beliefs with others to help them grow closer to Jesus Christ!
I have found so much joy and happiness as I have been able to draw closer to my Savior Jesus Christ by helping others and being able to really see what my Heavenly Father has in store for me.
