I'm currently serving a mission in the OTM (Oklahoma Tulsa Mission) serving Hmong people :D I love singing and being myself. Life's tough, but when you got the Savior protecting you from all the greater things, the simple things are as overbearing. Love and smile ;D

Why I am a Mormon

It brings joy to my soul. I love the feeling of the HG (Holy Ghost). It brings me great joy to know that I have a father in heaven and a brother who atoned for my sins. I am glad to know that my family can be together, for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I eat, sleep, breathe, do service projects and try to live my life like how i want to live it. And the gospel way is my way of living.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

I believe we need a Savior because he is essential for our growth. When we make mistakes, we learn from them. Imagine being like a child. Not knowing. When you're told to not touch a hot stove, you know that you're not supposed to. But sometimes you might actually touch it and it hurts! Heavenly Father gives us commandments because he knows better than we do. He knows that if we touch a stove it will hurt. But through Jesus Christ our Savior, through him we can become clean and through him our sorrows and pains are lifted. I believe we need a Savior because he is our way to return to our Father above. In D&C 19 15-18 found in the D&C in a combination book with the Book of Mormon and Pearl of Great Price, It says "Therefore I command you to repent... For behold I , God, have suffered these things for you all, that you might not suffer if you would repent. But if you would not repent you must suffer even as I Which suffering caused myself even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain..." God suffered so we would not suffer, because he loves us. And it says in Isaiah 1 18, found in the Bible, Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. I'm thankful and blessed for Jesus Christ. Through him I can become clean, people aren't perfect, we aren't perfect. But through Him we can dwell again with our Father in heaven.

We all mess up with things we can't go back and fix. Jesus can fix it.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We do not worship Joseph Smith. We worship our risen Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ and God our Eternal Father. We hold Joseph Smith in the same regaurd that the Children of Israel held Moses in the Old Testement. He is a great man, and we love, respect and look up him as a Prophet of God, but he can not bring us salvation. That is only done through our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the head of this, His true Church.
