Rebekah: student, artist, Mormon.

Hi, I'm Rebekah

I'm a student, avid reader, and an artist. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in college. I am working towards a major in Psychology and a minor in Visual Art. In my free time, I am often seen reading, drawing, and doing crafts. I also love going on long walks. My favorite subjects in school have always been Art and Psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because of the hope it brings into my life. The atonement of Jesus Christ covers all, not just our sins, but our pains, mistakes, and sorrow. It is good to know that no matter what happens, I will always have a friend in my Savior. I believe in the truthfulness of the Bible. I also believe in the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, which is a companion to the Bible, another testament of Jesus Christ. Both the Bible and the Book of Mormon guide me through my everyday life. I also know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has a living prophet that leads and guides this church. He truly is a prophet, seer, and revelator. I know that I am a child of God, and that my Heavenly Father loves me. It gives me hope to know that I can return to live my Father in Heaven. Also, that my family, here on earth, can be with me FOREVER.

Personal Stories

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

Prayer is a way for me to have consistant conversations with my Heavenly Father. I can share my feelings and deepest desires with Him. I know that if I have questions, He will answer, though in His own way and in His own time. I have always had my prayers answered. I know that He does answer. Prayer brings peace into my life. It allows me to be content. I know that I can speak to my Heavenly Father about anything. He is listening.

How I live my faith

I am a member of the Compassionate Service Committee. I serve members in the church in a variety of ways. I cook dinners, volunteer, and comfort those who are in need.
