Hi, I'm Megan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have 4 kids. We enjoy going camping, hiking/long walks, and bike rides together.
I attained my Real Estate license while living in Texas, but I am currently not working.
When I have free time, I spend it going to the movies with my friends, sewing something for the house, painting the interior of my home (one room at a time), shooting my compound bow, gardening, playing the piano/flute, learning how to play the ukulele, and looking for a deal on some land for my future farm. (dream, dream)

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the LDS Church. It's nice to know that God loves and cares for me so much, that through His Church, I have been given all the "tools" I need in this life to find peace and happiness; even during difficult times.
Every Sunday, when I go to church, I feel as though my soul has been healed; all the troubles of the week melt away, and I feel refreshed and new; ready to face the challenges of a new week.
I love the wisdom that He has made available to me, and I continue to seek it. There is so much for me to learn.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying each day to be more like our Savior, Jesus Christ. He was the perfect example of how we should be. It's not easy to be as patient, forgiving, and loving as he was, but I am working on it. Inspiration given through praying, attending church meetings, and scripture study, seem to help me. I have learned that these 3 things give me the ability to change within and become better outward. I am less likely to yell at my kids if I have just read about Jesus' teachings in the Bible.
