About Me

I am half Mexican half Guatemalan, I love my heritage. I am currently going to college to become a Athletic trainer and a ELL Teacher. I love what i study at school, I like to exercise and be fit. I am a very happy and out going person i know how to put a smile on peoples faces. I work as PARA at Lexington High School, thanks to my job it showed me the passion I had for teaching and how much I enjoy it. I am not afraid to speak my mind and I will always be honest with you no matter what. I have been put in situations that have just made me a stronger person their is not one second in my life that I don't try to live to the fullest. Friendly yes thats me you will never be bored or shy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because i know our heavenly father wanted this for me.I believe in the gospel and that heavenly father will help me to the right path. I love my scriptures there my life. I choose to be mormon not because someone convince me to but because i felt the spirit and i know heavenly father wanted this for me. The gosple has changed me fo the good and i know if i follow it the way am suppose to there will be blessing along the way. The missionaries changed my life the day that i gave them a chance into my life. That is one day that I will always remeber in my life. i believe in the gospel and i know that it is true.

Personal Stories

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

When i pray I feel as if its just me and heavenly father talking one on one. I ask for forgiveness because I am human I am not perfect and I know that he hears me. I talk to him when i really need him in my life and I know that he listens to what I have to say.

How I live my faith

I love our ward. I am second counseler in the young womens. I know that there is so much i can offer these young ladies and i do this by being the best example that i can be. I got my calling the same day that i recieved the holly ghost. This calling means the world to me I am showing these young ladies that you can live by the gosple and that there are blessings for what you do. I go to there activities and try to help them as much as I can I love my calling and I am glad that heavenly father chose me for this.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

the word of wisdom is something that needs to be followed because our heavenly father wants us to be healthy. Our body is a temple and there is no reason for us to damge it with harmful iteams such as coffee, tea or put any piercing on them. We were made this way for a reason and we should love ourselfs the way heavenly father loves us.

The word of wisdom is the Lord's law of health. We abstain from drugs, tobacco, alcohol, coffee, and tea, and are encouraged to eat wholesome food and grains, and not eat excessive meat. I am asked all of the time by my fellow residents at the hospital why I don't drink coffee, and how I can stay awake all night on call without it. I don't consider it a sacrifice, though, and am as awake and perform as well as any. It is true that the body will be more healthy when following the word of wisdom, the but the main benefit is spiritual. The knowledge that you are in line with the the Lord's teaching is the most important thing.
