Hi, I am Brandon. I can tell you because of how I was raised; I don't really know what my interests are. However I went to Australia and learn to love the sport rugby. I like to also collect coins like the state and national park quarters they put out. I myself am an Eagle Scout; I have had many experiences while being a scout. I try to get some of the young adults interested in playing. I am going to college to be a social-worker. I am 23 now, and I had a father who wouldn't let really experience anything. However, that is all, and now I can go and experience life and learn how to make right decisions on my own. My favorite thing that I have experienced since that time was being a missionary for the church in Australia. I have seen many people change after telling them, how I grew up. I plan to be a social worker to help out children so that they will not have to be trapped in the same situation as I was growing up while I was in Las Vegas. I plan to be a better parent to the children that are in the generations behind me. I know that children are the future. I personally want people to know what I know, and benefit from it. If you want to know more let me know. I want to be come married in the house of the Lord. I want to be an example to those around me and help them wherever they may need help. I want to have children and teach them a path that would lead them to happiness.
My decision to be Mormon, was made all at once, even though I was born into it, cause of my parents who have not been supportive at all, never taught me how to find the wonderful truth that my church shares with the world. I found that the church was true in more than one way. One was remembering all the time I went to church I was always happier, especially with abuse and neglect in the home. Second was I was trying to see if I really knew if this church was true. I remember telling a seminary teacher when I was 15, that I was going to serve a mission for the church in Sydney, Australia, and from that moment I really want to know to know if the church was true, so I put it to the test and did as much as I could to get a testimony, and I didn't receive an answer until I was 19 and had the call letter when I open my call letter, it said I was called to the Australia Sydney North Mission. The Lord used my own answer, to answer my question if the church was true. I can tell you that I do in fact know that it is true. That Jesus is the Christ, and that He suffered for our sins. I also know that the plan of salvation is true, because I have had loved ones who have passed on. I have had this truth testified to me through the Holy Ghost. Even with all the abuse and neglect in my life, I still know that it is true. I know that the hard-ships of life are allowed for us to learn. God doesn't hate us, and will not abandon us. I can tell you one thing I have found My Father in heaven, and I know you can find him, so seek him. I personally want people to know what I know, and benefit from it. If you want to know more let me know.
In my life prayer is a number one essential, cause I may have grow up a Mormon, but I was never taught to pray form my parents. I have taken the things I have learn from church and applied them in my life and have seen miracles through prayer. I have had pray help me find something I misplaced, to finding people to hear the gospel as a missionary for the church, to also knowing which path I should take in school. I have found prayer useful in choosing who I will marry. I have also found it useful when I need comfort, and relief from the stress of life. I just want people to know this, and benefit from it. If you want to know more let me know.
We go on missions to help others know about what we know about god. To strengthen when thing get hard, cause I know what we share can bring comfort to any heart, if they have the desire to know god. I personally know that what believe can help anyone, if they want to hear. We allow people to believe any thing they want, but I f they are curious in what have, we share it. We share it to the best of our ability. I just want everyone to know what we know, and to benefit from it. If you want to know more let me know.
Well I live on my own. I have not had much experience with harmony in in my family. It's nothing I could really fix, but learn from. I have seen many mistakes from all the men in my family, on raising families. I know and desire to improve and be better than all of them. I try to let them know I love them, but keep my distance, so I will not intake their influences. I hope have helped you benefit from this. If you want to know more let me know.
To be honest I know that what we believe happens after this life is true. I lost a brother when I was a freshmen in high school, and I took it hard. About 5months later from that I lost a great family friend to skin cancer I loved how she always told me to smile. Then when I was 19 I had another brother die, this time in a tragic accident, a year later I was in Australia and lost a grandmother to Alzheimer's Disease. then a month later my 97 year old great grandmother died of bowl cancer. About the same time I made a friend with this Tongan guy who died of a heart attack 4 1/2 months after I met him. I know without a doubt that I will see all these wonderful people again. It has been hard, but with a little faith you can know what we know, and benefit from it. If you want to know more let me know.
Well hope is tied to faith, Without hope, faith is useless. When we have hope, we have faith and we are more likely to see, and accept the lords blessing that he has in-store. I personally hope that I can live and become like god. We believe that through Christ we can become like him, who is like our Heavenly Father. I hope you can benefit from this, and if you want to know more just let me.
Well when you make good choices you feel good, and want to do more good. Yet when we make bad choices, we tend to follow more bad choices. Choices are like chain reactions they can be toward a good purpose or a bad purpose. Also when you make good choices, you also set a good example for others to follow, and the goes for bad choices. I know this to be true, hope you benefit, If you want to know more, just let me know.
I would say that the atonement has been the key principle that has members of my family. That sacrifice that Christ gave for all who will ever walk this earth has wiped all away the pain of mistakes. The atonement has caused rejoicing for my siblings and myself as the affects of child abuse have finally been lifted after many years. I know that the atonement can help anyone through any struggle if they allow it. Hope you benefit, if you want to know more, just let me know.
I don't care if anyone knows that I am Mormon, that's why that it is usually the first thing I tell everybody. I try to talk to all my friends about what I believe, but I don't push them to believe it, but I will invite them. I usually tell people my favorite phrase to say which is "Light Up the Darkness". I try my best to participate in church service activities, especially with the heavy load I have taken upon myself with school and everything. When I was in Las Vegas, I would move people in and out of our community if the opportunity presented itself. As a missionary in Australia, we provided service, and asked everybody even those who were not of our faith if they needed our help. In Australia I got to work with Youth and Young Single Adult groups. I also tend to be an overall, negative view, due to family issues. However, I let the atonement of the LORD, an Savior Jesus Christ consume the pain of sin, the pain caused by others, and the pain of physical ailments. I want people to benefit from it. If you want to know more let me know. I also live my faith by loving all those around by being readily available serve at a moment notice. I am constantly improving and looking for improvement, for I am not perfect.
