i'm a recent college graduate,a twin, a father, and husband and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated college with a Business degree. I am married and have a 2 year old daughter. When I am not working trying to support my family I enjoy going shooting, golfing, watching tv and playing xbox.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and that he died for me. I believe families can be together forever and that we have a Heavenly Father that loves us so much that he has provided a way to communicate with us today through Prophets and Personal revelation.

How has the Book of Mormon brought you closer to God?

The book of Mormon had brought me closer to God because it has helped me gain a better understanding of the love God has for us. it has done this by showing me that Heavenly Father loves his children so much that Christ Teaching were taught to all children throughout the world not just those in Jerusalem.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a daily basis by striving to keep the commandments and live the way the Lord would have me live. I strive to serve others and share what i know to be true with others.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The word of Wisdom is the Guidelines that members of the church use for what we take into our bodies. we are counseled to not do drugs, drink alcohol or anything else that may be habit forming. It also helps us to know what we should be eating like fruits and vegetables and to exercise regularly.

The word of wisdom is the Lord's law of health. We abstain from drugs, tobacco, alcohol, coffee, and tea, and are encouraged to eat wholesome food and grains, and not eat excessive meat. I am asked all of the time by my fellow residents at the hospital why I don't drink coffee, and how I can stay awake all night on call without it. I don't consider it a sacrifice, though, and am as awake and perform as well as any. It is true that the body will be more healthy when following the word of wisdom, the but the main benefit is spiritual. The knowledge that you are in line with the the Lord's teaching is the most important thing.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

While I do not condone it, I will never look down on anyone for living a homosexual lifestyle. One of the greatest things God has given us is the right to choose, and I work hard not to judge anyone for the choices they make. I believe the church feels the same way. While not condemning those people who live said lifestyle, according to ancient and modern prophets, God has never condoned such a way of life. Therefore, the church continues to preach relationships and marriage between man and a woman, and families consisting of such an organization.
