About Me

I am 19 years old and Enrolled at the University of Utah. I am very interested in mechanics and making things so i plan to study Mechanical Engineering. I got interested in this as I love to work on restoring and building cars, from the interior to the Engine. I'm also artistic and like to create things. So thats what i got when i put two and two together. I like to learn new things as often as I can whether from books or online. Science is very intersting to me and so is using computers. Which led me to like to play computer games, haha so thats me all over.
Oh things i love. Cold Cereal, Swedish fish, and hanging out with family and friends. And I love the Gospel of Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because nothing has every felt so sure in my life. Nothing else has ever felt truely 100% like this has. I was raised in a family thats Mormon, but that only makes it harder in my opinion to have a true "conversion". The truthfulness of the church came to me through study, prayer and receiving answers. Feelings I felt in responces to life's questions couildn't have come more plainly to me as I pondered my relation ship with my Heavenly Father and my association with his church. The Holy Ghost speaks to all of God's Children on the the Earth and NOT one of the His children have fallen short of his love. And there came a day and an experience where I felt that love so strongly that my heart was sold on my decision. I wanted to give as many people the opprotunity to feel that love as I could. Starting that moment. Being a member of The Church has blessed my life in more ways that I can probably recognize. It's blessed me with friends who strive to maintain high standards of morality, acedemics and kindness. The Gospel blesses families for Eternity and I know that every Person, Family and couple can recieve blessings from our heavenly Father if they ask. The Lord challenges us to put his promises to the test and to pray to know the truthfulness of all things and I can say that I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true and living Church on the Earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example in all places and at all times. I don't do anything that my savior would be dissapointed in or my parents and heritage would be ashamed of. And I study and continue to learn in the Gospel every day. Also be grateful in all things as God has given us all that we have and we should be grateful for our many blessings. One way I live my faith is to share it with others, Which is why I've chosen to serve a full time mission giving thanks constantly to the Lord. And by helping people grow in thier Faith in Jesus Christ. The Gospel in my Life is a "Pearl of Great Price" that I can't put a price on.
Ways that I live the Gospel of Christ, is by keeping His commandments and living the highest standards. One way I live my Faith by serving a Mission (where i devote every minute of the next 2 years to serving the Lord) Sharing the Gospel and what I KNOW to be true has brought more blessings that i have room to receive!

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Why need is a Savior is something very important we should know. Our Heavenly Father Loves us so dearly that he wants nothing more than for us to be happy and for us to reuturn to live with Him again. Heaven is such a pure place that there is no room for sin or unclean things with our Father in Heaven. So Heavenly Father knowing that we are not perfect and that we would make mistakes. So He provided us with a Savior, Jesus Christ, His Son. Who provides us with a path back to Heaven. He did this by Suffereing for all of our Sins in the Garden of Gethsemane so that if we chose to "Repent" or change things in our lifes and Forsake our sins. And God promises us that if we have Faith in Jesus Christ and His atonement and are baptized that... "he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more” (Doctrine and Covenants 58:42). This is the Gospel of Christ and this is how we can return to live with Him in Heaven.

Have you ever met a perfect person? I doubt it. Why? Because everyone makes mistakes. When you make a mistake or are confused on what you should do, you want someone to help you, right? We all need someone to help us. We all need a Savior. We always hear that Jesus Christ saved us, but what does that truly mean? It not only means that he suffered and died for you personally, it means that he lived and lives for us too. He wants to help us. Jesus Christ is the only one who underestands everything that we go through. He not only wants to make up for the mistakes we make, but he wants to carry our burdens too. All we need to do is let him carry our burdens. Everyone faces personal challenges and Jesus is there to help. Everyone makes a mistake qa some point in life too. The beauty of having a Savior, is the fact that we can be forgiven. Sometimes our hands get dirty, but they can always be washed clean.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Love the sinner, not the sin. We do not uplift or support it in any way. We try to help those overcome this serious and difficult urge of same-gender attraction. To some it is very serious, they feel they are 'borne' that way. Others feel great peer pressure, some are simply curious. Not matter the case, it is simply wrong. It is not ordained of God, and God does not take it lightly. To those who may struggle with this very urge, as you avoid it, and try to overcome it, God will strengthen you. Some people struggle with an addiction toward pornography, or cigarettes, some it might a seemingly over-powering urge toward alcohol, or to some, same-gender attraction. No matter the urge, they are all not of God and all Satan's devices to bring down worthy and righteous souls down to his level of misery. The family is ordained of God and it is our responsibility to uplift and support the family in any way we can.
