Hi, I'm Ben
I'm a video game developer. I'm a husband and father of five children. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I'm a video game developer and I love being part of a great team at work where everyone contributes to the amazing creative energy and produces a product that's fun and exciting to play. I also love being a husband and father and contributing to the amazing creative energy in our home. It's important to me that my children grow up with a strong foundation of creativity and an understanding of right and wrong and their relationship with God.
Why I am a Mormon
My parents were members of the church, and I was brought up as a member, but I have chosen for myself to be a faithful member because I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I know that God is real and that we are his children. He loves each of us and wants us to be happy. I know these things are real because of the peace that I feel when I pray and the joy that I feel when I obey God. God helps us feel this peace and joy to guide us to the truth. I find joy every day in trying to follow the teachings of Jesus, and helping my children learn about him.
How I live my faith
In our family, we pray together and study the scriptures each day before sending the kids off to school. I know that they need extra help in fighting against the negative influences of the world - and studying the word of God helps them remember what's really important in life and get started on the right foot each morning.
During the day, I look for ways that I can help people and for things that I can do brighten someone's day. I try to be a positive influence, to be encouraging, and to enjoy my work. It's important to me to be a disciple of Christ every day - not just on Sunday.
