I am married to a wonderful wife. We like to play racquetball and walk our doggies. I also like stage acting.

Why I am a Mormon

My wife's family is mormon and I loved being around them. I felt a light or glow from their family. I started investigating the church and was hooked from the get go. I have witnessed miracles since my conversion and know this is the true church on earth, Heavenly Father has provided for us.

What are you doing to help strengthen your family and make it successful?

I have helped my family by setting a good example in and out of the home. Just because you are Mormon doesn't mean you need to go around shouting it out. If you are thoughful and caring towards everybody you meet, a light shines from you. Others want to be like you and understand why you don't curse or get angry. It opens up a window to discuss the church and how wonderful your life has become due to it. Prayer in and out of the home is a huge part of stength. Nothing is stronger than love and I have found love in abundace for Heavenly Father and my family. Without the true church in my life, I would be lost.

How I live my faith

I have helped feed the homeless. Cleaned a house for a sheltered woman and her baby. I was the secretary for the mens class. I spent lots of time visiting other members and non members of the church. I took non members to the Easter Pagent. I took non members to a temple opening.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Mormons believe in the Bible, because we are Christians. The Bible is a history of Christ's time on earth. The name of our church is "The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints". Without the bible there is no church. Show more Show less

We believe in the Bible for the same reason every other Christian believes in the Bible! We believe in it because the Bible is the Word of God; it is holy scripture and sacred canon that testifies of the divinity of our Savior Jesus Christ. The Old Testament was written by ancient prophets who were called of God to preach unto the people of the coming of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for all mankind. The New Testament begins with the birth of Jesus Christ and contains a record of His baptism, ministry, crucifixion, resurrection, and, most importantly, His atonement for our sins and our trials in life. The Bible is entirely focused on Christ and is the foundation for Christianity. To The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Bible is fundamental in doctrine as it puts forth a witness of our Savior and Lord. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

For me, nature is one of the strongest evidences that there is a God. It is hard for me to believe that the mountains, oceans, forests, flowers, animals, and skies were randomly formed. It is hard to deny the beauty and the peace one can feel while sitting in silence and looking into the night sky. Beyond that, answered prayers tell me there is a God. I have prayed too many times and seen answers too many times for me to think that it has all been coincidence. These were prayers that expressed my concerns of which no one knew, yet were accompanied by answers that were so specific and detailed. God loves us to a degree we cannot comprehend, and as we look we will feel His love in very powerful and comforting ways. Show more Show less
