Hi, I'm Scott Milton Davis
I am from Cincinnati, but have lived in Arizona since 1989. I have degrees in Sociology and Environmental Planning.
About Me
I am the only son of a teacher and an electronics mechanic. I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, born in December of 1952. I am a part-time writer, having published a book in 1984. I am currently working on a book about working for architect Paolo Soleri between 1975 and 2000.
Why I am a Mormon
I was introduced to the LDS Church through a pair of excellent Missionaries. I had previously been an atheist, but events in my life led me to seek spirituality. I prayed (which was unusual for me) and the Missionaries appeared several days later. I find the LDS Church's attitudes and beliefs to be logical and practical. In the Church, I like the way things are conducted and I like what is presented.
How I live my faith
I follow the Word of Wisdom, as set out in scripture and Church doctrine.
I pray every day and read the scriptures regularly. I am striving to follow the doctrines of the Church, scripture, and the Ten Commandments. I am trying to improve myself, as taught by Jesus Christ.
