Meikle: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Meikle

I grew up in Arizona, served a mission in Australia, and work for a Civil Engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married for almost 5 years, we have two kids, a boy and a girl.

I enjoy spending time outdoors and operating machines.

I recieved an A.A.S in AutoCAD and am currently employed with a Civil Engineering Firm.

I am currently involved with the Young Men and the Scout program and enjoy the outdoor activities it offers.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and have been lucky to have a lot of little events in my life growing up which together have built the foundation for my testimony. I remember as a child signing church hymns and feeling the spirit and liking the feeling and wanting more of it. As a teenager in a smaller town I struggled with my testimony through school until I developed friendships with other Mormon teenagers who knew the church to be true who strengthened me. I have always enjoyed spending time at church functions and in the presence of other strong church members and decided to serve a mission thinking that my testimony was solid. Little did I know how much my testimony would grow as I served for two years. Having the time and ability to study the gospel everyday offered me many experiences which confirmed again and again to me that the Mormon church was the true church and Jesus's church on earth today. I know that if we each spend time studying the saviors life, each of us can have those same experiences which have built my testimony to where it is today.

Personal Stories

How can your talents and gifts bless others?

The Lord has given us all different talents and skills and I know that with what the Lord has blessed me, I can not accomplish everything. We work together, pooling our skills and talents in order to establish a stronger common goal of returning to live with our Father in Heaven again.

How I live my faith

Currently I am called to work with the Young Men in the church, in specific with the Deacons, who are the 12-13 year old boys. I am in charge of making sure that there is a Sunday teacher and that all runs smoothly in our class. The boys have been given a booklet called "Duty to God" in which is several suggestions for study, that if the boys follow, will help them to develop testimonies of Jesus Christ as well as develop themselves into strong men of God. I have been asked to help the boys along through this booklet to help them become what our Father in Heaven wants them to become.
As part of working with these boys, we participate in a Boy Scout Troop. I am the Scoutmaster and am there to help the boys run their troop and provide any support or answer any questions they have. I help organize the outing and facilitate the lega
