About Me

I am a stay at home mother and a wife of a Union Millwright. My husband puts up the wind towers and so we travel regularly. to me traveling is what makes life interesting,besides many other things, we get to see new places and do things that we would other wise not get to. I am a mother of two young children and would love to home school them.

i love to bake and would like some day to have my own bakery, i am also and artist and love to paint and draw in my free time. i am very creative so just about anything that involves your creative side i am in. i recently got to dabbling in scrap booking and that is fun. i love to garden just not very good at it.

i have always been interested in people and how they work. took several psychology class' and one day would love to go back to school to get my degree in it.

Why I am a Mormon

i grew up not really going to church. my mother used to read us bible stories and taught us follow gods commandments probably like most families try teach their children good virtues. though we did not go to church regularly my mother and her mother were Reorganized latter day saints members so we grew up on RLDS beliefs. one day in 2004 the missionaries showed up on my mothers door and told her about the church and not ever wondering why were we reorganized decided to hear them. she after listening to them called me and we talked she told me why our church branched off and it did not seem to flow with the teachings of all the scriptures i remembered.we learned that all the myths that surrounded the church were all untrue and that most people dont know much about the church. we were so glad to hear the rest of the teachings and felt in our hearts that it was the right choice to make my mother and i were baptized on the same day and still follow the church. i continue to follow the church because of its beliefs none of which go against the bible teachings and teach that we are here for a reason, we can be families forever and we get to earn the right to return to our heavenly father in the end. i my self have a testimony that this church is the true church of Jesus Christ and that the Holy Ghost will guide you in all things that are right if we just ask of him in faith we will know all things that are of God i say this in the name of the son Jesus Christ amen

How I live my faith

i live my faith throughout my everyday. we as a family strive to pray and worship together daily and try to tell our friends and neighbors of the gospel. i wish to be an example to others though what i say and do and even wear. i get to help plan or organize the get to gathers that we have at church to learn of the word of god and help with the people that cant make it to church in going to their house to see if they may need anything and to just help out i try every day to set an example about our church in how i live my life

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Temples are houses of the Lord, the most sacred structures on the earth. Anciently, the Lord directed Solomon to build a temple (1 Chronicles 28:1-6). This temple was a place where God could dwell, was a place of prayer, was a place of sacrifice and was a place where the principle and covenant of sacrifice was fundamental to worship.In temples, Church members participate in ordinances designed to unite their families together forever and help them return to God.

In the temple, members:
Learn eternal truths.
Receive sacred ordinances, including those that bind husband and wife together for eternity, as well as join children and parents (Malachi 4:5-6).
Provide ordinances such as baptism for those who have died without the opportunity to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:29); 1 Peter 4:6)

of all these things the one that means the most to me is that we as families can be together forever that the love we share here is not forever lost the feelings that we belong together really are more then chemicals in our brains but maybe residue of what we know to be true, that we were here for a reason and are ment to be and can be together after this life

Temples are used to perform sacred ordinances necessary for salvation. One of these is a temple marriage--making it possible to be together as a family for eternity. Since these ordinances are sacred, only members who are striving to live the gospel may enter. All members are strongly encouraged to become and/or stay worthy to enter the temple. Members also go to the temple to seek guidance, comfort, and personal revelation from God.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

A. You could go to a mormon.org profile from someone in your area that has a facebook link, and locate them that way!
B. You could go to the link on mormon.org that says "request the missionaries"
C. You could go to the link that says " Find a Church" and come visit us. We all would be more than happy to meet you to and explain why this message is so important for all of us.
