I grew up in Brazil and The USA and I am currently serving in the England London Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Brazil and lived there until I was seven and then moved to the USA for 10 Years. I graduated high school there and moved back to Brazil for two years.
I Prepared to serve there and I am currently in the England London Mission.
I love Music, Dancing, Food, Football (Soccer), Family, and my Friends.
Laughing and having fun is the way to go... I`m definitly a Mormon and I wouldn`t change that for the world. =]

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and there was a time where I didn`t like it at all and just went because my mom would make me. hehe
But the more I went and the older I got, the experiences I had going to church, and with those that I got to know there; I came to know my Heavenly Father and truly saw the blessings and happiness that I got from being part of this Gospel.
I`m one to question and doubt alot of things but I wanted to know for myself whether these things were true or not and so I did. I prayed about it and like most people I didn`t get anything, but I never stopped. Until one day I realized that the times where I felt the spirit and was truly happy, along with the blessings I saw from doing the right things.. WAS the answer. When I felt the Holy Ghost I was truly content and felt like nothing could go wrong. I felt my Heavenly Father`s love for me. Now I`m serving a mission. It`s not easy but I know this is the true Church which contains the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know Joseph Smith was a man called of God to restore truth. I know Jesus Christ lives and it`s only through Him that we can truly achieve happiness and make it back to our Heavenly Father`s presence. The pursuit of Happiness is our purpose in life and It`s a reality readily available to us.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

I`m on a Mission to share a happiness and a complete purpose in life that I have in my life through the true pure gospel of Jesus Christ, the way He meant for it to be when He was here on earth.

How I live my faith

Well, at this point I live my Faith my Dedicating two years of my life in service to our Heavenly Father. I am so happy to be a missionary because I am able to live the gospel 100% and to feel the spirit of God daily is priceless. I am able to teach others who don`t know of the truth and share this happiness that I have in my life. To share that we do have a purpose in life and that God does exist and we live in this perfect plan that He has created for us. That one day we can be together with Him and loved ones again. To change lives and see the peace I can share with others.

Who are the Mormons?

Mormons are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, happy people that have sacrificed to recieve a knowledge of the true church of God and that is where real joy comes from.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Some call Mormonism a cult because it is not a "traditional" Christian church. The primary complaint of the "traditionalists" (generally Protestant Churches) is that we do not believe in the doctrine of the trinity as it relates to the nature of the Godhead. The doctrine of the trinity was codified in the Nicene Creed in 325 AD, many years after the death of Christ and the Apostles. It basically says that the Godhead, The Father, Son and Holy Ghost, are one being in "substance." Since Mormonism does not accept this doctrine, they say we believe in a different Christ than they do and therefore are a cult. It is curious that this "trinitarian" doctrine is not taught anywhere in the Bible.

Mormons believe the Bible is the Word of God. The Bible (and the early church established by Jesus and His Apostles) teaches that the Godhead indeed consists of The Father, Son and Holy Ghost. But, it teaches that they are: 1) three distinct individuals as expressed in Acts 7:54-60 where Stephen is being stoned. "He being filled with the Holy Ghost looked up steadfastly into heaven and saw Jesus standing on the right hand of God." And it teaches 2) they are one in purpose, not in substance (John 17 where Jesus offers his intercessory prayer, particularly verses 20-23.) This is what Mormons believe.

It is noteworthy that the early Christians were called the "sect of the Nazarenes" (Acts 24:5) and were considered a cult by the Sadducees and Pharisees, the predominant religions of the day.
