Hi, I'm Kari V.
I am a lacrosse loving mother of 5, a dedicated wife, a registered nurse, and owner of a weight loss program and.... I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a mom of 5 kids, 4 sons and 1 daughter and entering into the years of teenagers and all that comes with that. I am a Registered Nurse. I am a busy sports mom and encourage my kids to participate readily in all sports. I Love lacrosse. It is my all time favorite sport to watch. I love watching my teenage boys play it and never miss games unless I have too. I am happy to be a Mormon. It's my life and would not have it any other way.
Why I am a Mormon
I am not perfect. I am flawed just like everyone else in this world. I have made some doozy of mistakes in my lifetime but one thing that I know is that my Heavenly Father loves me and sees me as a child of God. I am Mormon because I believe, I have never doubted the truth of the gospel. I feel it, I live it but will admit I have not always lived it. I have always known as a little girl growing up that God existed and that he is real. I have journal entries expressing my love and appreciation of my Heavenly Father and my childlike testimony. I have seen miracles happen in my life that I can only explain as the divine hand of God. I watched my then 2 year old son be saved by the power of a priesthood blessing after a roll over accident. It was a true miracle, one seen in the scriptures. I can never doubt the miracle of that day. I can never doubt the lords hand in my life. I have been blessed, I have been forgiven, I have been loved, I have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and of modern day prophets. I never doubted and will never doubt.
How I live my faith
Part of my nursing path, I have volunteered my time in many aspects of healthcare. I have become very involved in charitable activities to help the poor and needy. I have started a health weight loss initiative that has helped many women and men shed those unwanted pounds over this last year. It has been invigorating to see lives change because of my program. Beside raising my family it has become my mission in life, to help people who struggle with weigh loss and to promote healthcare. I work in the Pediatric Sector of Nursing. I also volunteer my time as a leader in the youth organization of the church with the Young Women. I hope I can be a good example, a good leader and loving to these impressionable young souls enough to make a difference in their lives!
