Hi, I'm Auburn
I'm a mother of three. I love running. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I grew up in Missouri. I moved to Arizona 8 years ago, after graduating from college. Not long after moving, I met my husband. We were married in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. We now have three beautiful children. I'm blessed to be at home with them every day. I enjoy running, reading, and graphic design.
Why I am a Mormon
After graduating from college I was living in a new city, and searching for a church home. I met a Mormon at work. I began asking him questions about his church. I didn't know much about Mormons, and the little I knew was mostly false. I asked my co-worker if I could attend church with him to see what it was like. I went one Sunday and felt the spirit so strongly that I chose to be baptized only two weeks later. It has been the greatest decision of my life. The church has brought me much joy, and I am grateful for the guidance and peace it brings. I love the Savior, I love the temple, I love my family. I am glad that we will be together forever.
Personal Stories
What are you doing to help strengthen your family and make it successful?
Many of the principles taught in the church help strengthen my family. We attend our church meetings on Sunday, we designate Monday nights as family night, we read scriptures daily, and we pray together daily. All of these things help solidify our relationships, appreciate one another, and have fun together.
How I live my faith
I love going to to church. I feel at home there, and feel I am among friends. I currently work with the youth, specifically the young women ages 14-15. I learn from the girls, and hope that they are learning from me as well. We spend Wednesday evenings together, and one hour together on Sunday. In the past I have served in other roles as an activities coordinator, teacher, and as a secretary.
I am grateful for the "callings" in our church. I like how they give us opportunities to serve in different capacities, and to grow as individuals.
