About Me
I love the summer time. I love swimming, going to the beach, and soaking up the sun. In Arizona, I love the monsoons. I love to watch the lightning :) In the winter, I still swim and I love playing water polo.I love reading and I will read almost anything with a story line. My favorite books are the Harry Potter books. My favorite movie always changes, but The Parent Trap (yes the one with Lindsay Lohan) is my all-time favorite. I am majoring in journalism and hope to go into broadcast. I love doing random things to have fun :D And yes, I am proud to be a Mormon.
Why I am a Mormon
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the "mormon" church) is the only true church. I know this because it is the only church I have been to that feels right. Every teaching I have opened my heart to has made me better. This is why I am a mormon. Being mormon has helped me overcome a ton of obstacles. The blessings I have received outweigh all the bad days I have ever had. I would not trade this for anything. My life would not hold as much joy, fulfillment, or meaning if I had not been a part of this true church.
How I live my faith
Here at ASU I see opposition everywhere. To keep myself on the right path, I just have to remember who I am. I love going to church as often as I can. I love helping people. In everyday life I try to live my life the way I know I am supposed to. I will always listen to anyone who tells me their problems and any secret is safe with me. One thing you need to know- something I always remind myself of in times of trouble, trials, or self-doubt is that no one listens better than Heavenly Father. Furthermore, you are meant to be something truly great and if you put your life in His hands you can reach your full potential and be truly happy.
