I have an amazing wife, 3 awesome boys, and a sweet little girl. I'm an eternal optimist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey, I'm Micah. I have a great life. I have the raddest, hottest, most amazing wife in the world. I have 3 boys that love to jump off stuff and break bones and get stitches. I have a sweet little girl that has the most contagious laugh ever! I am so fortunate to have been raised in an awesome family as well as marry into an awesome family. I love my family tons and I am so stoked that we will be together forever.

I love all kinds of work. I love working with my hands, with my mind, and with my heart. I love learning new things. The idea of being well rounded and having a balanced life is something I will always work at achieving.

My passion is to come up with new ideas and work at making them a reality. I fail at stuff all the time and I love it. I am an eternal optimist and know that with hard work and relying on the Lord everything will work out somehow no matter what.

For some reason I'm allergic to money and that's ok. I know there is a cure for that allergy coming soon. (remember optimism)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I had wonderful parents who taught me the gospel from a very young age and helped me to develop a relationship with my Father in Heaven. Through this relationship I have with my Heavenly Father I am able to know the truth of all things by feeling and listening to his spirit I am able to be directed in everything I do.

Although I was raised mormon I have had a personal witness that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is true. Through the feelings of the Holy Ghost I have learned for myself, independent of anyone else that God is real and that he loves me. I also know that through his Son Jesus Christ I can be cleansed from my sins and mistakes and return back to them having done all I can do, relying on the grace of God to make up the rest.

I love the Bible, and the Book of Mormon and when I live my life in accordance to their teachings I feel the Holy Ghost letting me know that what I am doing is right. God always lets me know when something is right or wrong.

Why am I a Mormon? Because my Father in Heaven told me it is the right thing to be. And I love it!

How I live my faith

I 'Live' my faith in every choice I make and every thing I do. I work to be an example of the Savior to everyone around me. My wife is watching me, my kids are watching me, the youth I teach and lead are watching me, and people I don't even know are watching me. I want to be an example to everyone that I emulate the Savior. I have a long way to go but everyday I will work to be better.

Through daily scripture study, prayer, and reliance on the Lord I have gained an 'eternal perspective'. Having that perspective affects every choice I make.

Bottom line: I am going to live my life so that I can go to heaven to live with my Father in Heaven and his Son Jesus Christ, and I am taking my Family with me.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

I believe that 'everything' God has created on this earth is 'eternal' and will last forever. God is perfect and what he creates will never be 'over'. Yes, we may live here and die one day but, this isn't the end. We will continue to live as a spirit and later reunite with our perfect body when through the power of Christ we are resurrected. I feel this goes for all of Gods creations. All things are alive in Christ and will last forever the important thing is that we do what we can to not only live forever but that we live forever with our families, with our Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes. We believe Jesus Christ is our Savior and we follow His teachings. We believe He is essential for salvation.
