About Me

I'm a Dad of four great kids, and I make an effort to spend time outside every day. I enjoy family walks, hiking, soccer, and martial arts. I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating well and exercising regularly, but most of my workouts come from playing with my kids or running them to various activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in God. I believe that Christ lived as an example to me, and that as I follow his example I am happy.

How I live my faith

I try to do one nice thing for someone else each day.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Just start out with a small prayer to God and just this one act will start you on a path that will bring you into a relationship with Him. Don't be afraid to ask for guidance from the missionaries this is the thing they live for.

The same way that you come to know anyone better, talk with him. Our Heavenly father blessed us with prayer, which is the means by which we converse with him. Think of every prayer as a phone call, not writing a letter; expect God to answer your prayers and listen for his response. Prayer is a two way conversation and the best way to come to know our Father in Heaven and what he wants for us.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

No. Mormons do NOT practice polygamy. There are many people outside the Church that say otherwise, but that doesn't change the truth of the matter.

There is nobody living on this earth right now who can truly claim to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who practices polygamy. It is against the law, both of the land and of the Church. We do not approve of such things.

There are some groups of people who do practice this and also claim to be Mormons, but I assure you that they are not in any way affiliated with this Church.
