About Me

I'm a blues singer/guitarist. I have had the pleasure of recording 10 albums and traveled to many parts of the world to perform. I am married to a wonderful woman and we live in Kyle,TX.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have read, studied, prayed about, and have experimented on the words in the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon contains the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is led by a true and living prophet of God. I have lived a happier life because I have chosen to follow the inspired counsel of the prophets and apostles. God hears and answers prayers.

How I live my faith

I go to church on Sundays and keep the Sabbath Day Holy. I pay tithes of 10% of my income. I do not drink or smoke.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

The same way that you come to know anyone better, talk with him. Our Heavenly father blessed us with prayer, which is the means by which we converse with him. Think of every prayer as a phone call, not writing a letter; expect God to answer your prayers and listen for his response. Prayer is a two way conversation and the best way to come to know our Father in Heaven and what he wants for us.

I have come to know our Father in Heaven through private prayer and service. As I pray and receive answers through impressions and feelings, I am able to assist in His work. At other times, I have been comforted at the times when I needed it most by a very real presence. I feel His love as I serve others and I can feel His love for them.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We do not worship Joseph Smith. We worship our risen Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ and God our Eternal Father. We hold Joseph Smith in the same regaurd that the Children of Israel held Moses in the Old Testement. He is a great man, and we love, respect and look up him as a Prophet of God, but he can not bring us salvation. That is only done through our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the head of this, His true Church.
