Chat With a Mormon Online
I am 22 years old and I love to do anything relating to the outdoors. I love to make snowboarding videos of my friends and of myself. Last year I was able to snowboard 45 days in the Utah resorts. My favorite snowboard resort would be Snowbird for its technical terrain to ride. I like art and I love to paint and draw. I went to school when I got out of high school at the Community College and graduated there with my associates degree in general education. I like to learn about anatomy and how the body functions. I like to read books that have great facts and useful information. I was going to finish school, but had the strongest desire from God to serve a mission for the LDS church. When I get home I want to either finish school in the medical field as a radiologist or persue my dream and work for a snowboard company or ski resort doing business advertising.
I am a mormon because I love the values that I have been taught. We are Christians 24/7 and not only on the sabbath. I am not perfect, but I truly strive to be a better individual each and everyday. I love the truth that we are taught and the peace of mind that I get when I know that our families can be together forever. I grew up in the church, but never really went a lot because I didn't like church. When I moved to college and stopped going to church I could tell that I was missing something. I knew that it was the church that was able to fill that void in my heart that I yearned for. I started going to church more faithfully and loved the peace of mind and spirit that I was able to fill by going there. I love knowing that we have temples on the Earth today that we can visit to help us get closer to God. I know that this church is true and that it will truly bless anybody who has a desire to learn more. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He died for us. I know that Heavenly Father listens to us today and has called another prophet to lead and guide His church in these last days. I am spoiled to have this church and I thank God each day for blessing me and my family.
I am a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I serve two years of my life to the Lord. I teach more people about the gospel of Jesus Christ and help them get closer to Him. I love serving a mission. Some days are hard because people don't want to listen, but it's those families that can see the church blessing their lives that make it all worth it. People are searching for the truth and we have it. I love to teach people about the church and about Jesus Christ. I have been able to see that I have helped families grow closer together by what our church has to offer.
