I'm a Mormon. I was raised in the Mormon Church, but had to come to my own testimony and belief in my faith.

About Me

I've been married 4 times and haven't given up. I was just sealed to my wife and new baby. We are a blended family, she has 4 girls (crazy, I know), I have 1 boy, and now we have a new baby girl.

Why I am a Mormon

I have seen and experienced too many things to ever deny this faith.

By the ordinances of Baptism and Confirmation, we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is more than just a conscience, but a real influence to motivate and change our lives.

We believe that family relationships are the sources of life's greatest joys. We also believe that families can be together forever.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Women have a divine role, as designed by Heavenly Father before we came to earth. We were given the sacred opportunity to be mothers and to work alongside the brethren of the church to serve, uplift, and strengthen others. Women are powerful and strong forces for good in the world. We must be careful, however. The world today often tries to demean the divine role of womanhood by over-sexualizing women or saying that they should be the same as men. Women and men are different for divine purposes. I don't want to be a man. I know that Heavenly Father sent me here to be who I am because I can contribute to this great work in a way that no one else can. I'm grateful to be a woman today.
