Hi, I'm David from Auburn Washington
I'm a Mormon. Born, raised, married in Oregon. Joined this wonderful Church at the age of 20 and have been truly blessed.
About Me
Have been a business professional during my career. Would not change any part of my life because every experience has contributed and guided me to where I am today.
Married to the same beautiful woman for 44 years and will be for eternity. There is much comfort in that my family has been sealed for eternity, not just until death.
My hobbies include cooking, mountain biking, coin collecting, hiking, gardening, and when I can - fishing.
Life has been very good to me and see the blessings the Lord has granted me at every turn. My greatest blessing other than family has been The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints and knowledge of it's principles and doctrine.
Why I am a Mormon
Am a Mormon because of the wonderful example my wife set before we were married. She married me with faith that my heart would recognize the promptings of the Spirit of God, and that one day I would be baptized into the Church. To her credit, she let me find my own way.. she was very wise, and I was baptized five months after our civil marriage. It was the greatest thing this man ever did.
Feel the influence of the Holy Ghost on a daily basis, a soothing peace that accompanies the knowledge of Jesus Christ and by being obedient to the principles he taught to his disciples. We have a prophet of God on the earth today that counsels us on His will. Will never be led astray by following our prophets counsel and guidance.
Am blessed to know that the Atonement was for us, so that we could have the opportunity to be in His Kingdom with Him, and our family. We will also follow the pattern that Jesus Christ set for us, to know that we will all be resurrected. Joseph Smith did restore the original gospel in this latter day by translation of historical record, of which the principles and doctrine are the same taught by our Lord and Savior during His mortality.
How I live my faith
Am active in my faith, giving service and participating in Sunday meetings that strengthen my faith. Look forward to being with ward members because of their love of things we have in common. Love being a Christian, believing in the gift of the Holy Ghost and in the resurrection.
