Hi, I'm Chris Hupp
I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I studied Landscape Architecture at Utah State University, but because no one seems to be building much I do Internet Marketing for the time being. I enjoy both, but Landscape Architecture has been my dream since I was 7.
I am 25 and still single! My parents and family remind me of that every time I talk to them. I love to write and entertain so I started a blog to sort of get what I like to call my normal life out there. I use it as sort of a semi sedated venting session as well as a way to hopefully reform the way guys treat girls now a days.
I grew up the son of a Psychologist and a Parent Educator, so you can only imagine the type of person I am. Every day of my life I was taught what to do and not to do in parenting, and life in general. Now I seek to pass that information on to anyone around me who ever needs advice.
I have sort of been named Hitch or the date doctor because of that background. I figured soon enough I should probably invest in a shrink chair and charge a small fee for all the counseling I have given.
All craziness aside, I love the outdoors, nature, hiking, biking, rock climbing, swimming. You name it, if its out doors or even in doors for that matter I have probably tried to dabble a bit in the hobby. Everything from Improv, Choir, Drawing, and Ballet to Sports of all kinds!
I love life most days, and the other days I at least like it!
Why I am a Mormon
Why am I a Mormon?
I'm a Mormon because I chose to be! I grew up in the Bible Belt and was exposed to a lot of different religions, but Mormonism has always felt right.
When I was 14 I was studying the scriptures in a seminary class, and questioned myself. "Is this the true church?" Since then and probably even before then I knew it was. Every day I have the opportunity to draw closer to my Savior through scripture study and prayer, and learn more about myself in the process.
As I study the scriptures everything just fits into place. The gospel is so awesome, and Mormonism just makes perfect sense!
How I live my faith
How do I live my Faith?
I live it day by day. I am not the perfect Mormon, but you aren't going to find anyone who is. To be Mormon means to be someone striving to be better every day!
So I live my faith like that! Some days are better than others but I know I am doing what God wants me to, and I love it!
