About Me

Hi! I am a teenager that goes to a normal high school. I have a brother, and some step siblings. I love my family so much. I like to read, sing, and play the piano. I have a cute black cat, and a golden retriever. I think life is amazing! World History is hard. My favorite color is green, and I like writing. I like eating bowls of cereal anytime, anywhere. Especially right before I go to bed. Anything else?

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS Church. My mom is a great example to me. She helps me keep my morals and standards. I love my church, and I love the people in it. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I think I have a good relationship with my Father in Heaven. I pray often, and I love the moments when I can communicate with my Lord.

Personal Stories

How does making right choices help us make more right choices?

It is easier to be righteous 100% of the time, rather than 98% of the time. The reason for this is that if we never give into the temptation to do something we know is wrong, it will be easier to say 'no' the next time. If you say, 'just this once' to that temptation, it will be much harder to not say that when the opportunity presents itself again.

How I live my faith

I try to go to mutual(youth activities) every week, and I attend church every week. I am grateful for the girls in my ward, and I love my friends very much.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Mormons believe that grace is a vital part of the atonement of Jesus Christ. We believe that it is by grace that we are saved after all we can do. The good works of an individual coupled with the grace of Christ can lead us to salvation. The grace of Jesus Christ is also an "enabling power" that gives us the strength to bear up under the burdens and trials of life. I have found great strength by relying upon the grace of Christ at times in my life when there was nothing else to provide it. Many times, I have been enabled to perform daily tasks, church assignments, responsibilities as a father and husband that were well beyond my personal abilities. I know that this was the enabling power of the grace of Jesus Christ. Grace is Christ's power to save me after this life and His power to help me while still here on the earth. I must always do my part through faith repentance and good works, but I know that in the end, it will be His grace that will save me.

We believe 100% that we are saved by grace. Absolutely. Period. No person can be saved by his or her works, no matter how great he or she is, and how many good things he or she did. In order to qualify for Christ's grace, however, we must live righteously, repent, and humble ourselves before the Lord.

Jesus Christ is the Savior of all humankind, the Son of the Living God, the Messiah, the holy and anointed one of Israel, and He lives today to guide and lead us back to our Heavenly Father.
