About Me

I grew up in a small town of grace with my dad and my little brother. over the years we have become very close and have helped each other become closer to the gospel of christ. I learned that the more we come closer to the gospel the more we served each other. God loves each and every one of us and wants us to be with him again. The way we can do that is by following him and his son.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because when i was younger my family were "the rebelious" type and I saw that there had to be somthing more. when i started going to church there was more and more joy in my life and my family became alot happier as we lived the way we should. I also realized that rules are not a restriction they are there to help you have more doors to choose from. As long as you follow them you will.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

mormons go on missions because they see how much the church and the gospel has changed their lives and want to do everything they can to let the world in on the joy they feel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by spreading the gospel through serving a full time mission. the more people that I talk to the more I fall inlove with the area and the people. There are people that are wondering what am I missing and I love helping them find the joy that I have.

Why is family so important to mormons? its simple as mormons we believe that god gave us families for a reason. this reason is because that is where we can find true happiness. on thing that I have found out in my studies is that we are all sons and daughters of god. what does this mean? it means that you are my brother and sister, and we are both created in his image so we have devine potentual. This is why families are important to us.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

I have many homosexual friends, and I have best friends who are gay rights activists. They know my stand on same-sex marriage, and I know theirs, but guess what? We are still friends. I hope you and I can be friends too, as I try to explain a portion of what I feel about the issue of same-sex marriage.

According to principles that I believe were established by God to protect both men and women and provide for their temporal and eternal welfare, only marriage between a man and woman is allowed. This marriage must entail complete fidelity from both parties. Just as post-marital sexual desires and impulses should be controlled, pre-marital ones are equally tameable.

The LDS Church penalizes no one based on their sexual orientation. What someone feels is not equal to what they do. Once someone acts on same-sex attraction, they are committing sin. Merely being attracted is not a sin. It is not easy or simple or enjoyable to suppress one's physical appetites. Frankly, I'm not even sure of all the reasons it is commanded that we do so (though I know of the basic reasons). What I do know (and believe me when I say I do know this) is that God has ordained marriage between man and woman. He always has reasons, and we usually don't understand them for quite some time. But I know with all my heart that it is for the good of all people, regardless of sexual orientation, that marriage only be permited between a man and a woman.
