About Me

I enjoy ultimate frisbee, soccer, volleyball, and basketball. I love animals, smiling, laughing, and having fun. I enjoy disney movies and painting my nails. I do not like green beans, or mushrooms. I am deathly afraid of spiders. I am a typical high school senior girl :)

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it is the most truthful church I have been to. Everything is simple, yet powerful. The people are friendly, and the concepts taught in my church make the most logical sense to me. I believe in Jesus Christ with all my heart, and I believe that the fullness of his truths are found in the LDS church. Believing in Christ allows me to become the best person I can, and allows me to be forgiven of my past mistakes and regrets.

How can your talents and gifts bless others?

Everyone has something unique to offer to the world and others. Each talent and gift you have, can and will (if you allow) bless someone in their life. Smiling is a gift I have, I smile at all times, even in moments of sadness or pain. I have been told many times that my smile has brightened someone's day. Talents and gifts don't have to be a major skill or ability.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by leading a set of young woman from the ages of 16-18. I live my faith by serving others, both in and out of my church. I live my faith by being kind, honest, and the best version of me.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

I personally (as a Mormon) regard the Bible as not only as Holy Scripture and the word of God, but as a source of comfort, joy, and peace. I turn to the Bible to find answers about the way I should live my life.

I personally enjoy The Bible as one of my favorite books. I know it is the word of The Lord. As I read the bible, I also tried to study where it came from. Before joining the church, I did believe that the bible was the word of God. But why? I believed in it before reading it... Well, the reason why I know, is because I ask God and He answered me. There is no other way. I wasn't there when it was translated, so how can I know? Some people just believe that it is true because everybody else says so. Heavenly Father can answer our prayers, why don't we ask Him?
