About Me

i am 20 years old and currently serving a mission in the mexico tuxtla gutierrez mission. i love sports especially football. i love to be in the mountains. i love to see movies and watch television proably more than i should. i have studied a little bit at the university level, i plan on studying more but i am taking a break from school for two years to be a missionary. i am the kind of guy who tries to do the right thing and be friends with everyone, but i am not always successful. i am not certain what my future is going to be , but i do know that i am going to have a family of my own, because i love my family so much.

Why I am a Mormon

i was raised in the church. throughtout all of my life i have always felt the church is true and as i continue to learn and study more the gospel i have expiernce that make me know that this is what God wants for me. I know that this is the same church that Jesus Christ established when He came to the earth and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am living my faith by being a full time missionary. everyday i have the opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Mexico. all of my tine is dedicated the preaching of the Gospel to all the world.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is directed and guided by Jesus Christ himslef. He is the one that calls prophets as He did in antiguity. in these days the way He has prepared for the prophets to be chosen is that the senior apostle or the apostle that has the most time as an apostle is called to be the prophet. the apostle as wel have been chosen by Jesus Christ. this is how prophets are called in The Churh of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No. We only worship God. Joseph Smith was not a god. He was a prophet. Just like Moses and Abraham and all of the other prophets in the Bible. He is not a god, we do not worship him, however, as a prophet, God used him as a tool to communicate with us by giving Joseph Smith revelation. God spoke to us through Joseph Smith. Therefore, we accept what Joseph Smith said to be the word of God.
